#537 - Chapter 24: Decepticon Attack (Part 3)

The convoy continued down the highway, getting closer and closer to the space center.

Suddenly, a soldier on guard duty shouted, "Report, Captain, unidentified vehicles are approaching us!"

Major William was alarmed and immediately issued an order through the vehicle's communication system: "All units, prepare for battle!"

"It's Optimus Prime! The Autobots are here to support us!" Sam leaned out excitedly, waving his arms frantically, his face filled with joy.

"They're friendly forces, don't attack!" William shouted quickly.

Just then, four vehicles sped past them like lightning. Leading the way was a red and blue Peterbilt 389 long-nose truck (Optimus Prime), followed by a silver Pontiac Solstice (Jazz), a yellow Hummer H2 (Ratchet), and a black GMC Topkick C4500 (Ironhide). They quickly turned around and followed closely behind the convoy. With them there, Sam felt a lot more at ease!

Before long, the convoy gradually approached the city, and the surrounding traffic began to increase. Their unique combination of vehicles attracted a lot of attention. However, a piercing siren suddenly sounded, and Sam hurriedly looked back. "No, that police car is a Decepticon! Bumblebee, quickly notify Optimus Prime! Stop it!"

But before they could take any action, a huge and mighty Buffalo MPCV (Mine Protected Clearance Vehicle) appeared on the highway, charging wildly at an alarming speed. The gunmen in the armed off-road vehicle were equally furious. Optimus Prime and Bonecrusher collided fiercely, the two huge figures intertwined and fought. Their battle caused intense tremors and noises, and the entire overpass seemed to be shaking. In the end, they both fell off the overpass, continuing their thrilling duel.

"Oh no! Optimus Prime fell!" Sam exclaimed.

"Buzz buzz～ Don't worry～ Buzz～ Baby～ Buzz～ Boss, he's okay～ Buzz buzz!" Bumblebee's radio emitted a combination of signals, making it clear what he meant.

Liu Yuan noticed that the siren that had been sounding all along had suddenly stopped, and even the roadblocks were gone. Actually, it couldn't be blamed on him. After all, Barricade couldn't even beat Bumblebee, and there were four Autobots here!
