"Sir Ikki, you shouldn’t have gone out on your own like that."

Ikki stopped punching at the Black Tide around him when he heard this and turned around to look at his party members that came over.

They had been standing nearby and watching everything as he went on a rampage.

After all, they knew that he was like that and that there was no stopping him.

So instead of trying to stop him, it was better to let him go on this rampage and clear the way for them.

Ikki didn’t mind that his party treated him like this, it was one of the reasons why he went with this party in the first place. They were willing to go along with his personality and his style, so there really wasn’t anything that he had to complain about.

Since they went along with what he did, he was able to use his power the best way that he could use them.

But there were still cases where he needed help.

After all, it wasn’t as if Ikki had infinite energy.

He still had to recover before he could release such destructive power again, which was why his party had stepped up. They knew his limits and they knew when it was their turn.

This party had the perfect combination of jobs for what made up a party.

There was a warrior, a tank, an archer, and a healer.

Right now, their warrior was out of energy which was why they had to make up for him.

That was why the archer stepped forward to shoot arrows at the Black Tide creatures that were coming at them.

Ikki had punched large holes in the Black Tide itself, but it wasn’t enough to take down the Black Tide completely. Still, it had been enough to weaken the Black Tide to the point where his party was able to deal with it.

Or else they wouldn’t have been able to do anything to the Black Tide.

The moment that these arrows made contact with the creatures from the Black Tide, it was as if they suddenly burst apart.

It was as if there was something that had exploded the creatures from the inside.

"These Holy Stone Arrows always do the trick." The archer said with a wide smile.

The tank shook his head with a wry smile, but he went forward to face the ones that made it through arrows.

Normally, those that touched the creatures made from the black ooze would have been corrupted and destroyed by the power of the black ooze. However, the tank was able to use the shield to block the creatures that charged forward and cut them down with his sword.

The way that they did this, it was clear that they were very used to this.

It was as if they had fought against these creatures from the Black Tide often.

Once all of these creatures were taken down, the healer raised his staff and wrapped them in light.

This light wasn’t just a decoration, but rather holy magic that was used to heal them up and restore their strength. Though this kind of holy magic could only be used on normal people like them.

If the healer were to try this holy magic on the hero, it just wouldn’t have any effect at all.

Those that had tried in the past would either fail or they would be drained.

After all, the heroes possessed far more holy magic than normal priests like them did.

"Alright, I’m charged up. Stand back."

As soon as Ikki said this, none of them hesitated at all to move out of his way.

After all, his punches were the greatest weapons that they possessed.

But before Ikki could throw out those punches, there were cuts that appeared in the Black Tide. These cuts had the same effect as Ikki’s punches as they blew away the black ooze of the Black Tide.

These were clearly the attacks of another hero.

As soon as Ikki saw them, he couldn’t help revealing a look of disdain.

"It seems like that goody two shoes is here."

The other members of his party had a similar look on their faces.

From their reactions, it seemed that none of them liked the one that had released this attack just now. It seemed like they had a bad relationship with that person that had come to their aid.

"Skree!"

When the Black Tide was cut down like this, the monsters from the black ooze all reacted to the damage that the Black Tide suffered. It seemed like the power of these monsters was related to the Black Tide itself.

When the Black Tide was weakened like this, the monsters also became weaker.

But this wasn’t the only thing that hit the Black Tide.

There were different marks that appeared on the Black Tide that all seemed to be causing damage to it.

With all of these attacks hitting the Black Tide, it seemed like there was a stacking effect on it as more and more of the Black Tide started to disappear.

"I won’t let you outdo me!" Ikki shouted when he came back to his senses from seeing all these attacks.

Only by the time that he threw out his punch, the Black Tide had mostly disappeared.

The tiny bit that was left was hit by his punch and completely disappeared.

Once the Black Tide disappeared, the monsters that had been formed from the black ooze also broke down and started to fade away.

In no time at all, everything had returned to normal.

If they hadn’t witnessed the Black Tide just now, the villagers never would have thought that there would have been such a thing that existed here. They would have thought that everything was just like normal.

"So you’re the one that got here first. Good job protecting the people."

Ikki’s face twisted when he heard this and he turned around to glare at the one that spoke.

But as he looked at him, he had to admit that this person really seemed like a hero.
