Chapter 6 The Dirty Machine with an Extraordinarily Large Appetite
Chapter 6 The Dirty Machine with an Extraordinarily Large Appetite
Before returning to his charging bed to rest, Yin Vector walked around the room a few more times, memorizing the locations of the activity area, the stairs, and his own room. Only when he felt he was fairly familiar with the place did he return to his small room.
After lying in bed, she stared at the internal communication interface and hesitated for a long time.
She wasn't sure if this was a custom among Cybertronians, nor was she sure if Zhen Tian Zun Le would be happy to receive such a thing.
But in the end, she still sent a message:
【Good night】
She waited for a while.
There was no reply from the other side.
I didn't pay much attention to the vector, and casually closed the interface to rest.
After switching to this new body, she can now fall asleep as soon as her head hits the pillow.
This is a godsend for people who have trouble falling asleep.
-
The first thing she did after waking up in the morning was to find something to eat.
Eating more is always good! Stock up on energy! A metal body won't get fat, right?
As she sat at the dining table, munching on an energy bar, she saw Zhen Tianzun emerge from the training room in the basement, still steaming, with a layer of condensation residue remaining on his outer armor.
This guy got up way too early!
She glanced at it, swallowed the energy cube, and said, "Good morning, you're up early."
Zhen Tianzun's gaze swept over her, then landed on the pile of empty, gnawed energy cube shells in front of her, pausing noticeably for a moment:
"Didn't you eat a lot of energy bars last night?"
"Yes, but breakfast and dinner are different." She said, stuffing another energy bar into her mouth.
He looked at the pile of empty shells in front of her and said in a flat tone, "For someone your size, you've overeaten."
The vector was biting another energy block as it watched him.
"But I'm hungry. I was very hungry yesterday." She paused, then added, "And I'm still hungry now."
Zhen Tianzun didn't reply immediately, but just looked at her for two seconds.
Her size, her machine, and her resupply speed are indeed a bit off.
But it's too early to draw conclusions.
Seeing that he didn't speak, the vector expert turned his attention away first.
"Do you leave the training room this early every day?"
"Hmm." Zhen Tianzun sat down directly at the dining table.
"You haven't had breakfast yet?"
"without."
"Won't this be bad for the machine?" Under the watchful gaze of the Heavenly Venerable, the Vector picked up the ninth energy block.
"No." Zhen Tianzun took out the energy liquid he had prepared before training from a container that resembled a stove, and put it on the table to eat.
After eating eleven energy bars, the vector finally felt that was enough, so it returned to the previous topic:
"Can't someone my size eat that much?"
"A normal body wouldn't have that problem. The problem with your body isn't just the inferior metal." Zhen Tianzun finished the energy liquid in no time, just like yesterday.
After hesitating for a moment, she felt that even from the perspective of a human soul, her physical body was utterly pathetic.
"Can it be fixed? Or at least don't make me walk like a broken door."
Zhen Tianzun glanced at her machine and didn't refute: "Whether it's possible or not depends on how many Shanks you're willing to part with. It also depends on whether anyone's willing to repair it for you."
Seeing that she seemed inclined to have the machine inspected, he added:
"Your machine might not be able to get in through official channels. And not all those outside the official channels know how to repair it; most just know how to disassemble it."
Zhen Tianzun pointed at her body: "Let me make this clear first, don't run around recklessly. I don't want to see you turn into parts right now."
The vector nodded, understanding that its current state meant it was being sent out to deliver parts.
After finishing his meal, Zhen Tianzun went back to his work.
The vector then returned to its small room and began to examine the machine from all angles.
The old, low-quality metal had dark, rough edges, and the fins even had traces of rust.
The metal, which should have been reflective, now only had a dirty, matte finish on her.
She stared at her arm for a long time, and suddenly a question popped into her head.
By the way... can Cybertronians take baths?
After thinking about it, she sent a message to Zhen Tianzun.
[Question: Can Cybertronians wash themselves? I feel like my whole machine is dirty.]
The other person replied after a long while, I don't know if they had finished what they were doing:
[Come to the study on the second floor.]
When she entered the study, Zhen Tianzun had already set up a complete machine cleaning process on the projector, with a list of precautions next to it.
Zhen Tianzun didn't hold back either, saying, "I thought this ash had become a part of you, and that you planned to carry it with you forever."
"I've only been online for less than three Star Days, and many modules are already missing. I didn't know that. You said it yourself." Yin Vector said matter-of-factly, not taking his words to heart. The optical lens was already locked on the projector, and his subordinate naturally scrolled down the data interface.
Zhen Tianzun didn't say anything more.
She roughly understood the process.
First, use surface spraying and atomized cleaning to wash away the dust and dirt from the whole machine. Then, use ultrasonic vibration to treat small parts and local gaps. After that, you have to manually wipe it dry, add cleaning solution, and finally even apply a layer of metal oil.
...This is much more sophisticated than she thought.
After she finished reading, Zhen Tianzun took her directly to the private area inside the second floor.
As she passed by the bedroom, she only had time for a fleeting glance, but it was enough to tell that the place was ridiculously large, clearly not just for resting.
Further inside, there is a complete set of cleaning facilities similar to a bathroom.
Zhen Tianzun pointed over there and began to explain to her in a calm tone.
Zhen Tianzun raised his hand and pointed to the set of sprinkler devices on the left.
"That's a full cleaning. First, wash away the surface dust and dirt on the low setting. Don't touch the high-pressure mode, I won't be responsible if you damage it."
Then he pointed to the narrower platform on the other side.
"That's for localized treatment. Use that on joint seams, fin bases, and small parts."
"Close the interface cover first, and don't touch anything near the ignition chamber."
Finally, he turned his gaze to the processing table at the back.
"After washing and drying, apply cleaning solution, and finally apply a layer of metal oil."
"Otherwise, your cheap metal outfit will only get stale and rougher."
The vector generator nodded seriously: "Is the edge of the fin considered a local area or the whole?"
Zhen Tianzun glanced at her: "Partial view."
After he finished speaking, he made sure she understood at least the first step of how to start before taking a half step back.
"After you're done washing, clean up the liquid on the floor. If you don't know how, just text me. But don't bother me with a little bit of dust."
After saying that, he disappeared through the door. He had another gladiatorial match in a few days, and his opponent was worth his effort.
The vector's attention also turned to the facilities. After a few attempts, although there were some bumps along the way, it slowly learned how to do it and finished washing almost completely.
After washing, she could see that the dark spots on her body weren't from dirt, but from the roughness of the metal itself.
Some scratches are impossible to wash off, and some edges are already showing signs of wear. The fins themselves also show slight rust and corrosion, not just small rust spots. In some places, such as near the knee on the left leg, even the seams are not normal.
Just as she was staring blankly at the old, damaged metal she had washed, a voice from the doorway called out:
"Not finished washing yet?"
"I'm done washing. I'll clean up the liquid on the floor." She replied, then wiped the machine dry and restored the floor to its original cleanliness.
When Zhen Tianzun walked in, he saw her still standing there staring blankly at her leg joints.
Zhen Tianzun said directly, "Now you see? Dirty and old are not the same thing."
After standing there for a while, the vector responded very softly:
"Um."
"So I have to fix it."
Zhen Tianzun did not refute.
"Then let's prepare for Shaknics first."
"Also, don't just hand yourself over to someone who can take apart machines but can't repair them."
The vector looked up at him.
She knew he was telling the truth.
So from this moment on, repairing the machine was not something she could "talk about later," but something that had to be put on the table as soon as possible.
