Chapter 612: Rovak Finally Fell
Chapter 612: Rovak Finally Fell
Rovak’s smile turned completely serious.
His dark-red aura burned hotter and hotter until the air around him began twisting from the pressure alone.
Then, under the shocked eyes of the crowd, he suddenly slammed both fists into his own chest.
BANG!!!
Blood burst from the corner of his mouth, but instead of weakening, his aura exploded.
BOOOOOOM!!!
The dark-red energy around him grew denser, almost like burning blood.
Dahlia raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
Inside the private viewing room, Slifera immediately stood up. "That idiot!"
Garion narrowed his eyes slightly. "He’s hurting himself?"
Elisa nodded seriously. "Yeah. He wants to finish this fight as soon as possible."
Back in the arena, Rovak laughed wildly. "Hahaha! If you won’t hurt me enough, then I’ll do it myself!"
He punched his own shoulder.
CRACK!
Then his ribs.
BANG!
More damage spread through his body, but his aura rose even higher.
Rovak’s muscles expanded, veins bulged across his arms, and the dark-red pressure around him became almost suffocating.
Dahlia stared at him for a moment before grinning. "You’re really insane."
Rovak laughed. "Coming from you, that sounds like praise!"
The next instant, he vanished from his spot.
BOOM!!!
Rovak charged through the storm like a raging war beast.
Dahlia raised one hand, and several black-blue lightning bolts struck down toward him.
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
But Rovak smashed through them with his fists.
No matter how the thunder burned his skin or how the wind blades tore into his body, he didn’t care.
Anything that couldn’t kill him only made him stronger.
The moment he arrived in front of Dahlia, he punched.
[Drakhor Blood Breaker]
BOOOOOOM!!!
Dahlia crossed both arms and blocked, but the force still pushed her back for the first time, carving long marks across the arena floor.
The crowd exploded.
"He pushed her back!"
"Rovak is getting stronger!"
"This is the Drakhor Race’s real power!"
Rovak rushed forward again, his fists raining down like meteors.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Dahlia blocked, dodged, and countered, but Rovak’s attacks grew heavier with every exchange.
Still, her grin never disappeared. "Hahaha..."
Dahlia’s disaster aura suddenly pulsed, and the storm above the arena responded by growing even crazier.
Rovak’s eyes widened slightly.
Dahlia stretched both arms outward and grinned. "You’re getting stronger through damage? Then I’ll get stronger through the storm."
The black clouds above twisted violently as streams of thunder, wind, and storm energy descended toward Dahlia.
WHOOSH! CRACKLE! BOOOOOOM!!!
The storm poured into her body, and in an instant, black-blue lightning and violet winds spiraled around her, changing her aura completely.
Inside the private room, Garion’s eyes lit up. "Oh..."
Atlas, invisible beside him, floated lazily and grinned.
[She’s finally using it properly.]
Back in the arena, Rovak grinned even wider despite the pressure. "Good!"
He kicked off the ground and charged.
Dahlia moved too.
BOOOOOOM!!!
The two collided in the center of the arena.
Rovak’s dark-red fist clashed against Dahlia’s storm-wrapped fist.
For a moment, both powers pushed against each other.
Then Dahlia’s grin sharpened. "Sorry, Rovak."
Her fist pressed forward. "But this is my storm."
CRACKLE!!!
A massive burst of thunder exploded through Rovak’s arm while a violent tornado formed around Dahlia’s punch.
[Disaster Storm Fist]
BOOOOOOOOM!!!
Rovak’s dark-red aura shattered.
His eyes widened as the combined force of wind and thunder slammed into his body. "Hahaha... damn..."
The next moment, he was launched backward.
BOOOOOOM!!!
His body crashed into the protective barrier with enough force to make the entire arena tremble.
For a few seconds, Rovak tried to stand, but unfortunately, his dark-red aura began to flicker as his body finally reached its limit.
Finally, he dropped to one knee and collapsed.
Even then, he didn’t fall completely flat.
The referee immediately rushed forward, and after checking him, he raised one hand.
"Rovak is unable to continue!"
The giant holographic screen flashed brightly.
[Winner]
[Dahlia Draconia]
[Representative: God Gym]
The arena exploded with cheers.
Dahlia slowly lowered her fist as the storm above her began fading.
Then she looked at Rovak and grinned. "Good fight."
Rovak, still kneeling, didn’t respond.
But from his smile, Dahlia could tell that he was also pretty damn happy.
---
Dahlia returned to the private viewing room not long after the semifinal ended.
The moment the door opened, she walked in with her usual confident grin, but there were still faint traces of lightning and wind flickering around her body.
Garion immediately stood up and laughed. "Hahaha! Good fight!"
Dahlia lifted her chin proudly. "Of course."
Garion walked over and patted her shoulder firmly. "You handled that well. Rovak was much tougher than I expected."
Dahlia nodded honestly. "Yeah. He’s crazy strong."
She glanced back toward the arena screen, where the replay showed Rovak injuring himself to boost his Drakhor bloodline.
"If I didn’t absorb the storm power into my body at the end, that fight would’ve dragged on a lot longer."
Garion grinned. "That’s what made it good."
Alira looked at Dahlia with a calm but slightly impressed expression. "You’re officially in the finals now."
Dahlia’s grin widened. "Finals, huh..."
Her eyes burned with excitement. "Good. Then there’s only one left."
Meanwhile, Slifera and Elisa were not as relaxed.
Slifera stood up immediately and looked toward the exit. "I’m going to the medical bay."
Elisa nodded and followed him. "I’ll go too."
Garion looked at them. "Checking on Rovak?"
Slifera clicked his tongue. "Of course. That idiot damaged himself way too much."
Elisa’s expression was calm, but her eyes carried clear concern. "His race has strong recovery, but self-inflicted damage combined with Dahlia’s storm attack won’t be light."
Dahlia scratched her cheek awkwardly. "Uh... I didn’t hit him too hard, right?"
Slifera turned toward her with a complicated expression. "You blasted him into the barrier with thunder and tornado force."
Dahlia coughed lightly. "Right."
Garion laughed and waved his hand. "Go check on him. Tell him that was a damn good fight."
Elisa nodded. "We will."
Slifera sighed. "Knowing him, he’ll probably wake up laughing."
Dahlia immediately grinned. "Yeah. That sounds like him."
With that, Slifera and Elisa left the room and headed toward the medical bay.
