Chapter 422 - 421: The Enemy Who Killed Your Brother

Chapter 422 - 421: The Enemy Who Killed Your Brother

"Huh?" Bella picked up the necklace around her neck, "Are you talking about this, Auntie?"

"Yes, it’s very delicate." Mrs. Sinclair said with a smile, "Was it given to you by an elder in your family?"

The antique style suggested it was likely from an elder; young girls seldom buy such necklaces for themselves.

"Yes." Bella took off the necklace and placed it in her palm, "It was given to me by Aunt Sienna. Inside are photos of my mom and dad."

Mrs. Sinclair already knew from Bella that she was an orphan, so she said, "Bella, may I see your mom and dad?"

"Of course." Bella opened the locket on the necklace and handed it over, "Auntie, this is our family photo. The baby in the picture is me when I was little, and beside me are my mom and dad."

While Bella was introducing them, Mrs. Sinclair took the necklace and saw the people in the photo clearly, but the smile on her face suddenly froze.

She looked up and asked, "Bella, are you sure the people in the photo are your parents? There’s no mistake?"

"No mistake." Bella didn’t understand why her smile had suddenly disappeared and felt a tightening in her heart, "Aunt Sienna told me, and I’ve been to the cemetery to pay respects to my parents, it can’t be wrong."

"Oh." Mrs. Sinclair’s face lost its smile, and her expression turned indifferent. She placed the necklace on the coffee table in front of her, suddenly stood up, and said, "Mrs. Miller, show our guest out, please."

Mrs. Miller, who was arranging flowers in the corner of the living room, was taken aback, not understanding why the lady, who had just been so warm and happy, suddenly became indifferent.

Mrs. Miller hesitated for a moment, then stepped forward and said, "Ms. Acker, please."

Bella was completely dumbfounded. She picked up the necklace, feeling a bit awkward and uneasy, and stood up, "Auntie..."

"Ms. Acker, please don’t call me that." Mrs. Sinclair said coldly, "Mrs. Miller, what are you waiting for? Show her out!"

Mrs. Miller was startled and didn’t dare to be courteous any longer, "Ms. Acker, you should leave now!"

Bella was bewildered, instinctively looking towards the second floor, but Damian had gone to the study and didn’t know what was happening in the living room.

Mrs. Miller glanced at her lady’s expression, then pushed Bella slightly, "Don’t make it difficult for a servant like me, please leave!"

Bella, wearing high heels today, stumbled a bit when Mrs. Miller pushed her. She glanced at Mrs. Sinclair, pressed her lips tightly, and left with the necklace.

Damian and Mr. Sinclair came down from the study on the second floor and saw Mrs. Sinclair standing in the living room with her arms crossed, her face cold.

Hearing the sound of the two coming downstairs, Mrs. Sinclair looked up at them.

Mr. Sinclair saw her red eyes and approached with a frown, "What’s wrong?"

Damian looked around the living room and also asked, "Mom, where’s Bella?"

"Bella! What Bella! You don’t even know who she is!" Mrs. Sinclair’s eyes were red, and she said with tears, "She’s the enemy who killed your brother! An enemy!"

Damian frowned, and Mr. Sinclair held Mrs. Sinclair, "Honey, what’s going on? Tell me clearly."

"Husband, it’s that bastard Ronan, Bella is that bastard Ronan’s daughter." Mrs. Sinclair’s tears ran down her cheeks as she tightly grasped Mr. Sinclair’s clothes, "That’s the enemy who drove our son to his death! I can never forgive him in this lifetime!"

Mr. Sinclair remained relatively calm, "Are you sure about this?"

"I saw the photo, and she admitted it herself." Mrs. Sinclair looked coldly at Damian, "Damian, break up with Bella immediately! Immediately!"
